Steve will speak about “Building the First LEED Platinum Home: What’s In It and Why”. You’ll learn about the LEED Platinum LivingHomes we’re building and see what we do to reduce their impact on water, air, material resources, and power.

Great Party for a Great Cause Held at the First LivingHome
Monday, August 31st, 2009

On August 27th, the first LivingHome, designed by Ray Kappe, held a party hosted by designer Kenneth Cole, Planet Green, and Vanity Fair to launch the latest FEED bag.  For each backpack sold, an identical backpack, filled with medical supplies, will be delivered to health workers in Sub-Saharan Africa.

“Sustainable Design and the Art of Building the First LEED Platinum Home” by Steve Glenn

Everyone is welcome at the brown bag lunch talk Steve is giving at the Portland AIA Offices on August 28th.  Steve will speak about “Sustainable Design and the Art of Building the First LEED Platinum Home”.  You’ll see what we do at LivingHomes to dramatically reduce our homes’ impact on water, air, material resources and power.
