A couple weeks ago, I gave a tour of the first LivingHome in Santa Monica to a class of third year architecture students at Arizona State University, as part of their study tour during their design studio on prefabricated housing. Each student did a case study of a prefabricated home. Brian Lucke brought his case study model of the LivingHome, which clearly demonstrates the house’s modular components, along on the tour.
Brian built his model following the actual construction of the home. He first fabricated ten separate modules, then fitted them together. Several pieces of the model were removable so that you could see into the separate layers of the LivingHome.
These are Brian’s photos of his project. Enjoy.
Good work, Brian!
