Since we’re working on our first LivingHomes for Canada, we’ve now worked out the specifics for how we handle all the fun stuff that we get less in Southern California: (extreme) cold, snow loads, moisture. Our solution: more insulation, wood framing, a bit less glass. LivingHomes are designed to support living roofs, so we’ve always been fine for most snow loads! Now every LivingHome is available for whatever climate – hot, cold, dry, damp!”
