Julius Shulman was, arguably, the greatest architectural photographer of the 20th century. As a five year old, I had books with pictures of mid-century modern homes in Los Angeles that he took. I would stare at them for hours. They feed and grew my love for architecture, and helped me to see and appreciate the shapes, textures, forms, and light that combine, gloriously, in great design. Julius is gone physically but the love he expressed through his images will live on for generations. You’ll make heaven look great, Julius. Send us some pics.
